We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join a growing cybersecurity company. Great opportunity for someone who likes to be hands-on with the sales process and continue to expand their technical background. You will team up with the Enterprise Account Executive team and Post-Sales teams to help identify net new business, cross-sell/upsell/renewal opportunities, and bring them across the finish line.
Some responsibilities you will have:
- Support the sales teams with both new opportunities and renewals on the current book of business
- Act as a subject matter expert to provide training and updates on the platform for both internal staff and clients
- Will handle both the pre- and post-sales process. A major focus will be on net new business
- You will act as a liaison between product and marketing to better target new customers or update current clients on new product releases
- Have the opportunity to work alongside the channel sales team
- Create RFPs/proposals - you will get to own the entire process
- Travel to trade shows and client events as needed (30%~ of the year)
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Worked in a cybersecurity, compliance, data management, or identity access (IAM)
- Ability to travel 30% of the year: trade shows, conferences, and client sites
- Used to customizing highly technical demonstrations to prospective clients
- Experience in technical pre-sales or systems engineering
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
