IT System Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
• Manage and optimize cloud-based services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Oversee Active Directory administration, including user and group management, GPOs, and domain controllers
• Manage and maintain VMware environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data and systems, including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across various platforms
• Provide technical support and training to staff, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures

Skills/ Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in system administration, including hands-on experience with cloud services, Windows, Mac, and Linux environments
• Proficient in managing and administering cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Competence in managing Mac and Linux operating systems
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
• Experience with VMware administration and virtual environments
• Knowledge of network security best practices
