Director of DevOps

Our client, a leader in the Data and Compliance space, is looking for a Director of DevOps to spearhead change and transformation through the technical leadership of their cross-functional Engineering teams.

You will act as the driving force to develop Automation, CI/CD, and IaC practices, while collaborating with wider teams across Software Development, Product Management and Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategy with the CTO to transform the software development and delivery, DevOps and CI/CD best practices, and process refinement, in alignment with the organisation's technological goals
• Refine processes and company structure to transition from a vertical setup to a cross-functional structure
• Collaborate with wider management to enhance software quality and release consistency

Experience Required:

• 10+ years in senior leadership capacities, with the ability to motivate, lead, and grow multi-discipline software development and DevOps teams
• Experience leading organisational change, implementing Agile ways of working and DevOps processes
• Expertise in software delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code
• Expertise in Security and Compliance standards and strategies (ISO27001, GDPR, SOC2 etc.)
• Development experience and Cloud-related certifications are desirable
