Our client is revolutionizing the operations and asset management software space. This company is selling to companies like Chevron, Disney, NASA, and other Fortune 500 clients. They offer a complete product suite that can be used within Master Data, Facilities Operations, Aerospace & Defense, and Oil & Gas to name a few industries. This company is partnered with AWS and SAP as well. If you are looking to stay within SaaS, but potentially move into a different space within software, this would be a good fit.
Position Overview:
As the Director of Sales Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting sales, marketing, and operations teams with optimizing revenue strategy within the organization. This individual will be responsible for developing and improving processes, tools used, and strategies to drive continuous revenue growth and ensure there is alignment across multiple departments. The ideal candidate that we are seeking is someone who has a strong background in Sales Operations, Financial Planning, or a Senior Sales role within a B2B SaaS company prior.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute revenue operation strategies to drive growth and efficiency within the sales and marketing teams to help align with target annual goals.
- Design and implement scalable processes and best practices for the sales team such as lead management, pipeline forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Analyze sales and revenue data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the sales org.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure a seamless execution of revenue strategies and alignment of goals.
- Oversee the implementation of compensation plans for the sales team.
- Handle lead scoring through CRMs such as Salesforce and SalesLoft.
- Oversee the implementation of new tools and technologies that will better assist the sales, marketing, and other departments in being efficient in reaching revenue goals.
- Monitor and develop key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of revenue strategies; providing regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Will report directly to C-Suite executives.
Qualifications that we need from you:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or something similar. An MBA is a plus within this role.
- Ability to use Excel successfully - any certifications within Excel are a bonus.
- Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft, or other CRMs.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, financial planning (FP&A), or senior sales roles within a B2B SaaS environment.
- 2+ years of leadership experience is preferred but not a requirement. Will be open to a senior individual contributor who is looking for a management role.
- Ability to come into an office locally in Raleigh, NC.
