IT Support Engineer

A client of mine is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This role will involve providing Level 2 support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with key IT projects in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support for Windows-based environments, including user account management and permissions in Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating to Level 3 when necessary.
• Assist in the configuration and deployment of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Participate in IT projects, ensuring timely completion and successful delivery.
• Document and resolve support tickets, ensuring accurate records.
• Support end-users with mobile devices, peripherals, and general IT troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve support processes and systems.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Windows and Microsoft environments.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or CompTIA A+ are highly desirable.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
