IT Support Specialist

A client of mine is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join their team in Galway. This role will focus on providing Level 2 and 3 support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and contributing to IT infrastructure projects in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, including Active Directory management.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Assist with the deployment and management of Azure services.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation.
• Document technical solutions and maintain an accurate log of support tickets.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Windows and Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure.
• Experience with networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and security practices.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and Linux environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable.
