Senior Software Developer (Java/Kotlin)

My client is looking for a Senior Software Developer with solid experience across Java, Springboot, Microservices, Docker, Kafka and MySQL, to join their growing development team in Dublin. If you are an energetic, enthusiastic Senior Developer looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced scale-up environment this opportunity will be of interest to you.

You will have in-depth knowledge of web technologies, with experience working in a dynamic start-up or scale-up environment previously, with the ability to work at pace, solving in highly technical problems on a daily basis and will have a thirst to learn new technologies, particularly Kotlin.

Requirements:

• 6-12+ years of experience in hands-on software development, specialising in Java.
• Solid experience using Springboot, Kafka, MySQL, Docker, Jenkins, and Git.
• Kotlin experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable experience in AWS deployment.
• Knowledge and understanding of event-driven architecture and systems design would be advantageous.
• Ability to mentor less experienced members of the wider team.
