Senior Java Contract Limerick
Exciting opportunity for my client based in Limerick working in the financial sector. The client is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Java contractor with strong proficiency working with modern web and API-based solutions. This candidate needs to have experience working with OpenShift.
Location Limerick, Ireland
Day Rate Contract (6+ months), Hybrid Working
Responsibilities:
- Design and build responsive, user-focused web applications.
- Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests to ensure robust performance.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years' experience working with Java/Spring based web applications.
- Strong exposure to microservice-based architecture.
- Experience developing Rest APIs.
- Expertise working with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Previous exposure to OpenShift is required.
