Our clients are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving the evolution of our finance function through innovative change initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver transformative finance projects: Define, plan, and execute projects that enhance efficiency, improve data accuracy, and streamline financial processes.
- Leverage data-driven insights and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, automation) to optimize operations.
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for finance transformation, aligning with business objectives.
- Champion continuous improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the finance team.
- Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and technology where possible.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and ensure adherence to financial controls.
- Build strong relationships: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, building strong relationships and understanding their evolving needs.
- Influence and guide decision-making related to finance transformation initiatives.
- Project Management Expertise: Manage the full project lifecycle, from inception to implementation and post-implementation support.
- Develop and track project budgets and timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Develop and empower team members, encouraging their professional growth.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in strategic change management and project delivery within a finance or related environment.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex finance projects, ideally with a focus on process improvement, automation, or technology implementation.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address challenges proactively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change and build consensus across different levels of the organization.
- A strong understanding of financial principles and best practices.
Desirable:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA)
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Experience within F.S or banking industries.
