Senior IT Support Technician

A client in Dublin is seeking a Senior IT Support Technician to provide advanced technical support, lead IT projects, and assist in maintaining a secure and efficient IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, mentoring junior staff, and working closely with senior stakeholders in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2/3 support across Windows, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Assist in IT security initiatives, including endpoint protection and access management.
• Lead IT projects, such as system migrations, Cloud deployments, and automation improvements.
• Maintain and improve IT documentation, processes, and best practices.
• Work closely with vendors and senior management to implement IT solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Expertise in Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to manage projects independently.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or CompTIA Network+ are desirable.
