A client of mine is looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide Level 2 support and assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a Windows-based environment. This role will involve a mix of on-site and remote support, ensuring smooth IT operations for end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 desktop support, including troubleshooting Windows OS, Office 365, and application issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware problems with desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
  • Support software installations, updates, and system configurations.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi and VPN issues.
  • Document technical resolutions and escalate complex issues when required.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, providing desktop support in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are desirable.
