Data Architect

Reperio are working with a large insurance firm who are on the lookout for an experienced Data Architect to join their growing team. In this role, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimising the data systems that power analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence capabilities. You'll work cross-functionally with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure the data environment is robust, efficient, and scalable.

Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role
• Strong background in data modelling, database design, and big data technologies
• Proficiency in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), SQL/NoSQL databases, and ETL tools
• Experience with data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and data lakes
• Deep understanding of data governance, security, and privacy practices
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

Desirable:

• Experience with real-time data processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark)
• Knowledge of machine learning data workflows
