Release Train Engineer

Reperio has partnered with a leading organisation undergoing a major Agile transformation, and are looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join their Agile Delivery function on a 12-month rolling contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a large-scale Agile Release Train, driving cross-team collaboration, continuous delivery, and value flow. The role offers a flexible working arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART syncs, and system demos
• Drive the flow of value using Agile tools and frameworks (SAFe, Kanban, etc.)
• Work with Product Management, Scrum Masters, and Engineering to manage risks and dependencies
• Champion Agile best practices and ensure alignment across teams
• Lead Inspect & Adapt workshops and continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as a servant leader and coach across the Agile Release Train

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer in complex, enterprise-level environments
• Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) - SAFe RTE certification is highly desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
• Experience using Agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently and influence without authority
