Head of Information Security

Reperio has partnered with a rapidly growing medical technology company developing connected healthcare solutions that is seeking a Head of Information Security to lead and mature its global security and compliance function.

The company’s mission is to improve patient outcomes through intelligent, data-driven healthcare — with information security and privacy at its core.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organisation's information security program.
• Define and maintain policies aligned with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and HIPAA standards.
• Oversee risk assessments, incident response, and third-party risk management.
• Lead external audits and certification efforts (ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP readiness).
• Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to embed secure design and DevSecOps practices.
• Promote a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management.
• Represent information security in board, customer, and regulatory discussions.

Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience in information security, including leadership roles.
• Proven track record with ISO 27001 implementation and certification.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Skilled in risk management, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable:

• CISSP
• CISM, CISA
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53
• FedRAMP, or medical device security.
