MES Support Engineer

Reperio has partnered with a Cyber Security Incident Responder to join a growing security operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work in enterprise-scale environments, tackling a broad range of cyber threats and strengthening overall detection and response capabilities. You'll play a key part in identifying, analysing, and responding to security incidents, working alongside a skilled SOC and response team to investigate alerts, perform technical analysis, and implement improvements that enhance overall resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and manage cyber security incidents from detection through remediation.
• Conduct root-cause investigations and assist in refining detection and prevention controls.
• Support the development of automation and improve response processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance monitoring tools and reporting.

Requirements:

• 4+ years' experience in cyber security, ideally within a SOC, DFIR, or incident response function.
• Strong technical understanding of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, NDR, and XDR.
• Good working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud environments.
• Certifications such as GCIH, CEH, OSCP, or CISSP are an advantage.
