Head of PMO

Reperio has partnered with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Head of PMO to establish and lead a centralised Project Management Office, overseeing a portfolio of strategic projects across operations, technology, compliance, and commercial functions.

This is a senior leadership position offering the opportunity to shape delivery frameworks, drive governance, and ensure alignment between projects and overall organisational strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the PMO, implementing processes, tools, and reporting structures to improve project visibility and control.
• Oversee a portfolio of business-critical initiatives, ensuring consistent governance, prioritisation, and performance tracking.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Partner with senior leadership to assess project feasibility, set priorities, and communicate progress and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery, governance, and change management practices.
• Support cross-departmental alignment between Operations, IT, Sales, and Compliance to enable seamless delivery.

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in project management, including at least 2 years leading a PMO or project delivery function.
• Proven track record managing multiple projects across diverse business areas.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Skilled in project tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
• Relevant project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) preferred.
