Principal Android Engineer

Reperio has partnered with a well-established organisation seeking a Lead Android Engineer to define technical direction, drive innovation, and guide teams in building high-performing, scalable mobile applications. You’ll lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery excellence across all aspects of Android development.

Responsibilities:

• Shape Android technical strategy and architecture.
• Lead solution design and technical decision-making.
• Mentor and uplift engineering capability across teams.
• Ensure scalable, maintainable, high-quality delivery.
• Drive CI/CD, testing, and operational best practices.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Android experience and previous experience in technical leadership.
• Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture.
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, testing automation, release management.
• Cloud & APIs: REST/GraphQL, AWS (API Gateway, AppSync, Lambda).
• Strong communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
