AWS Cloud Solution Architect

A leading global consulting organisation is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Solution Architect to join its technology delivery team in Dublin. The successful candidate will help clients define and execute their cloud strategies while designing robust, scalable solutions on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cloud and hybrid solution architectures that meet business and technical requirements.

• Work closely with stakeholders to analyse needs and translate them into actionable designs.

• Architect and oversee delivery of complex enterprise solutions across multiple domains and technologies.

• Design and implement cloud-native systems, including AI/ML-enabled capabilities, automation, and data-driven architectures.

• Support IT strategy, architecture governance, technology assessments, and decision-making processes.

• Embed DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices into solution delivery.

• Contribute to cost optimisation and cloud governance using FinOps principles.

• Produce clear documentation and technical presentations.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a cloud architecture or similar technical role.

• Strong expertise in AWS services (IaaS/PaaS); AWS architecture certification or commitment to obtain one.

• Background in software development (Java or .NET preferred).

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex cloud solutions.

• Strong communication, leadership, and consulting skills.

• Broad understanding of integration, infrastructure, multi-system architectures, and emerging technologies.

• Experience with DevOps pipelines, IaC tools, and cloud cost optimisation.

• Knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud beneficial.

• Experience with technical project planning, budgeting, or bid support an advantage.

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
