Location: ROI (Hybrid)
Contract: Initial 6-month day rate (with potential extension)

Role Overview
My client is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems. You will work across engineering, operations, and security teams to implement automation, monitor systems, and ensure resilient, high-performing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) for reliability and scalability

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for production systems

• Manage containerised workloads and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Drive infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

• Troubleshoot production issues and lead incident response efforts

• Collaborate with development teams to improve system performance, availability, and maintainability

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar DevOps/SRE role

• Strong cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)

• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent)

• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)

• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
