Contract DevOps Engineer (Azure / AKS)

12-Month Contract | Dublin | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)

My client in Dublin is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract focused on building and operating secure Azure Kubernetes (AKS) platforms. The role follows a hybrid model with two days onsite per week and flexibility around remote working.

Role Overview

• Design and operate AKS environments

• Support containerised workloads using GitOps

• Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and/or Bicep

• Embed security and least-privilege principles across platforms and pipelines

• Work with Cilium and modern Kubernetes security tooling

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on AKS / Kubernetes experience

• CKA required (CKS preferred)

• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitOps (Flux ideal)

• Strong Linux background

• Security-focused engineering mindset
