Lead Software Developer (Java/Python/C++)

My client is looking for a Lead Software Developer with solid experience across a combination of Java, Python or C++, to join their growing development team in Dublin. If you are an energetic, enthusiastic Senior or Lead Developer looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced scale-up environment this opportunity will be of interest to you.

You will have the ability to design and architect scalable solutions that handle real-time systems, establish technical standards, and generate critical technical discussion to improve infrastructure and development practices, while mentoring a small team.

Lead Software Developer - Essential Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in hands-on software development, with experience across Java, Python or C++.
• Strong experience using Spring framework, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud services.
• Solid exposure to front end technologies such as TypeScript and React/React Native.
• Knowledge and understanding of real-time systems and location-based services.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor less experienced members of the wider team.
• Experience operating in a safety-critical environment, e.g. aviation, aerospace, robotics, industrial, automotive.
