I'm working with an exciting start-up in Ireland who is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in Python and React to build intuitive, high-impact software.

Principal Full Stack Engineer (Python/React) - Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of full-stack applications, with a strong emphasis on React-based frontends and Python backends.
• Build high-performance, intuitive UIs for complex analytical and investigative workflows.
• Set and influence architecture, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and domain experts across security and investigative contexts.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding engineers across multiple projects.

Principal Full Stack Engineer (Python/React) - Essential Experience:

• Strong professional experience with Python and Fast API on the back end.
• React and TypeScript on the front end.
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, production-grade full-stack systems.
• A passion for creating clear, usable interfaces in complex problem domains.
• Experience operating at a principal or lead level, balancing hands-on development with strategic technical direction.
• An interest in building impactful systems within security, defence, or investigative environments.
• Ability to operate in a start-up/scale-up environment and own/build the end-to-end system of set of features.
• Experience across a broad range of languages, technologies, and AI components.
