Senior Product Owner

Senior Product Owner | Dublin | Hybrid | Permanent

Hiring on behalf of a leading global organisation, seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to take ownership of a complex, enterprise-grade compliance and risk management platform.

Responsibilities

• Decompose high-level features into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritised backlog items
• Drive backlog grooming, sprint planning, and manage priorities and dependencies across multiple engineering pods
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and solutions teams to deliver high-quality platform features including real-time and batch pipelines, detection analytics, and alert/case management
• Participate in design reviews, technical estimation, and ensure non-functional requirements are in scope
• Support model calibration, back-testing, threshold tuning, and monitoring of detection performance metrics
• Ensure explainability, lineage, and model transparency across detection and scoring modules
• Define test cases, regression test suites, and oversee UAT and release validation
• Monitor key product metrics and iterate to optimise performance
• Manage dependencies with external data feeds and integrated systems
• Produce and maintain product documentation, user guides, and runbooks
• Support internal teams including sales, services, and support

Requirements

• 6+ years' experience in product ownership, business analysis, or domain roles
• 4+ years working within AML, financial crime, risk, or compliance products or operations
• Deep understanding of transaction monitoring, case management flows, and regulatory expectations
• Experience with data processing and analytics - pipelines, feature engineering, model scoring, streaming vs batch
• Strong Agile/Scrum practitioner - user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint ceremonies
• Comfortable managing dependencies across multiple engineering teams
• Strong stakeholder management across compliance, operations, engineering, and client teams
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• CAMS or equivalent certification preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent
