Business Analyst

Mid-Level Business Analyst / Product Owner | Cork | Hybrid | Permanent

Hiring on behalf of client seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead a team and drive delivery across a complex technology platform portfolio, balancing strategic change with day-to-day operational support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Business Analysts and Systems Integration Specialists
• Own delivery of platform change, enhancement, and integration initiatives alongside BAU operational improvements
• Translate roadmaps and priorities into structured delivery plans balancing scope, capacity, and operational risk
• Act as senior point of contact for delivery issues requiring cross-team alignment or decision making
• Set clear expectations for analysis quality, solution clarity, and delivery ownership across the team
• Ensure business analysis activity is grounded in operational reality and supports timely decision making
• Own allocation and prioritisation of delivery effort across change and live operational systems
• Represent the team in discussions with commercial, operations, and technology stakeholders
• Build strong working relationships across internal teams, delivery partners, and vendors
• Maintain delivery artefacts supporting transparency, governance, and operational readiness

Requirements

• Strong experience leading Business Analysis or delivery activity in complex technology environments
• Proven experience leading and developing a team of analysts
• Experience working across both change initiatives and BAU-driven live operational support
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including at senior level
• Sound judgement, structured problem solving, and risk awareness
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams

Nice to have

• Experience with platform integration, automation, or AI-enabled initiatives
• Experience working with third-party vendors or delivery partners
• Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery approaches
