My client is a health care solutions provider currently looking for a network engineer with strong experience for a 12-month contract to cover long-term illness. They will have multiple responsibilities to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the network. This has a competitive daily rate and flexible hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

• Implement any network changes as required Eg, firewalls, web filtering, remote offices, corporate Wi-Fi
• Maintain operating and maintenance standards for network infrastructure
• Manage and resolve network faults and serve as an escalation point for critical issues
• Provide technical guidance for proposed upgrades and new technologies

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years in a similar role
• Certifications such as CISCO CCNP/CCIE
• Good knowledge of CISCO WAN/LAN
• Experience installing and configuring security devices eg. Palo Alto, Cisco Firewalls
• Experience with AWS and Azure

Useful Skills:

• Experience Scripting and Programming eg. Powershell, Python, Javascript
• ITIL background
• Understanding of Linux
