Are you an experienced Desktop Support Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a day-rate contract basis? Our client, based in Dublin, Ireland, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment and other IT infrastructure
- Assist with IT projects as needed
- Manage and prioritize support requests using a ticketing system
- Ensure timely resolution of support requests
Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience in IT support
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and network protocols
- Experience with Citrix Workspace, Active Directory, Exchange, and other enterprise-level technologies
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
