Desktop Support Engineer

Our global client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join their team on a contractual basis at their site in Dublin.
- Provide 2nd-level technical support to end-users using different communication channels such as phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Set up, arrange, and uphold a diverse array of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Provide training to end-users on hardware and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Efficiently handle and prioritise support inquiries utilising a strong ticketing system.
- At least 3 years of background in a technical support position
- Proficiency in managing enterprise-level technologies like O365, AD, SCCM and similar systems
- Understanding of basic networking concepts and protocols.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate would be beneficial
