This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world renowned organisation within the financial sector. You'll have the opportunity to work in a customer facing role with some of the biggest financial institutions in the world.
My client are looking for an experienced L1/L2 support engineer with strong network troubleshooting skills and a background in financial trading. You don't need to be a FIX engineer or a trading and market data specialist, but you do need to have worked in a support or helpdesk role within a trading company to be considered.
Alongside the technical your communication and client facing skills are of key importance. You'll need to be used to the fast pace of trading and be able to keep a calm head when a million and one things are happening at the same time. Being able to keep your composure will be a key asset in the position and will enable you to thrive within this role and progress quickly through the organisation.
Desired Tech Skills
- 2-4 years hands on experience in a similar customer facing support role within the financial sector
- Strong network understanding and network troubleshooting skills
- Trading and Market data services, FIX/SBE protocol
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
- Excellent communication skills
