Python Engineer

Hybrid (3 days on-site)

We are looking for a software engineer with expertise in Python to join a top-tier global hedge fund company. This company is passionate about using technological innovations and data science to solve complex business problems. You will join the Commodity Technology team in projects utilizing cutting-edge tech.

Responsibilities:

• Develop research and trading applications using Python and AWS technologies
• Collaborate with your team and other teams within the company
• Develop software solutions using the agile methodology
• Automate testing and deployment of software solutions using CI/CD practices

Experience/Technologies:

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years of professional modular Python application development experience
• Knowledge of data-intensive application development
• Experience using pandas, Numpy, and Django
• Experience developing data visualization applications with Plotly, Matplotlib, Dash, etc.
• Experience with SQL and databases as well as AWS technologies

Bonus Skills:

• Experience working in FinTech
• Frontend development experience using Angular/TypeScript
• Experience with DevOps practices using Docker and Kubernetes
