Senior Network Engineer Contract - Limerick

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our client and work on the design, implementation, and maintenance of networks for our clients. This role is on a 12 month rolling contract.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining networks for clients, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues as they arise.
• Providing technical support to clients, including answering questions and providing guidance on network-related issues.
• Working with the team to identify and implement network optimization strategies.
• Keeping up to date with the latest networking technologies and trends.
• Participating in on-call rotation for emergency network issues.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with network design and implementation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work well in a team environment.
