Sr. Fullstack Engineer

We're looking to bring on an experienced Sr. Fullstack Engineer to help modernize our client's technology stack. You will be working on a wide range of projects, including developing microservices, creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces, and expanding into new markets.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
• A cumulative 5 years of experience working with a server-side language (e.g. Java, C#) and front-end technologies (JavaScript/HTML/CSS)
• Proficiency in a Single Page Application framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
• Understanding of developing REST APIs
• Advocacy for automated testing best practices within the team
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently while being self-driven
• Aptitude for designing and implementing new features from scratch
• Willingness to enhance the technical capabilities of team members through mentoring, pair programming, and code review
• Willingness to introduce new technologies to drive technological advancements within the team
• Knowledge of building distributed systems
• Experience with APM platforms (e.g. DataDog, Wavefront, etc.), logging, and error monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Java 8+, Kotlin
• Experience with Spring Boot for developing microservices
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure
• Experience with DevOps practices (e.g. CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of building distributed systems
