Technical Writer

A new Technical Writer role has come available at one of my top clients, a global Cloud SaaS company who are in the process of launching 3 new exciting brands. They are in a period of really extensive growth across all sections of the business and need to bring a new Information / Documentation professional who can develop User Guides, Knowledgeable Articles, API Developer Guides, In-App Content and more. This role is about contributing to defining a consistent and coherent voice across all documentation and knowledge resources, and this is a company that likes to be bold and will favour candidates who bring their own approach to influence/innovate upon that voice.

This role is Fully Remote - Ireland & UK.

Responsibilities:

• Take leadership in establishing knowledge resources and technical supporting documentation for customers
• Write articles, Product documentation, user guides and white papers.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders in product management, marketing and development teams to help establish style guides and best practices for documentation writing.
• Learn technical intricacies of platform to extent that you can communicate its features and benefits to customers in a way that is clear, coherent and engaging.
• Source feedback from customers on content to improve quality
• Write API Developer Guides

• Experience as a technical writer for SaaS products or web applications
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and articulate them in a way that is easily understood.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
