Our client is a large financial consultancy who are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join their team on a 12 month daily rate contract.
This role is due to start with immediate effect, is offering a daily rate of €400 per day and the likely hood of an expansion beyond 12 months.
Whilst you are expected to work on a hybrid model, it is possible that after an initial two months that you can work more remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Create test cases to identify areas that require improvement in line with the test plan.
- Develop a testing strategy that will cover all stages of the developmental lifecycle.
- Identify key issues and ensure that the correct action has been taken by engineers
- Work to agreed quality standards and industry best practices with a strong drive towards CI/CD, DevOps and automation.
- Assist with all functional and nonfunctional testing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years automated testing experience
- Experience of complete end to end testing throughout a testing life cycle model
- Proficient working knowledge of CI/CD Process
- Strong API testing experience and knowledge of Postman
- Ability to write test scripts in more than one programme language would be advantageous
