Working in Reperio

Are you considering applying to become a Recruitment Consultant in Reperio? Our colleague Bláthnaid gives the inside scoop on what it is like to work in Reperio.

What is your background?

My background before joining Reperio was very much in customer service/people-based roles. I worked in retail in various management positions after leaving school, and eventually made the jump into recruitment at the beginning of 2023.

What made you decide to join Reperio?

One of the main reasons I chose Reperio was down to the internal recruitment processes. Darcy, Reperio’s internal recruiter, was very professional and accommodating, always going out of her way to speak to me on her lunch or after 5pm. I think a company’s recruitment processes is an early indication of how much a company values people and their employees, so this was a big thing for me.

I also happened to know two former co-workers who had started working in Reperio, and they spoke very highly of the working environment and culture. There is great earning potential and fantastic perks for Reperio employees, so hard work definitely pays off.

What is your favourite part about working in Reperio?

My favourite part about working in Reperio is definitely the people and the opportunities available to everyone in the office – we all get along really well, there’s never any office drama or politics, and there are always lots of social activities and charity related events organised for outside of work.

In terms of the job itself, I enjoy that most days are different, you’re always busy if you want to be, and I enjoy speaking to different people from various backgrounds and walks of life every day. I think I thrive off helping other people, and recruitment is a very people-focused job.

What is the culture like?

Company culture is a huge part of working at Reperio. I think we’re a dedicated and hard-working group of people, but equally everyone is always up for a wee bit of craic and there’s always a lot of jokes and friendly digs thrown about.

There’s great travel opportunities/perks, we’re heading to Lisbon in July this year and I am really looking forward to it as I missed out last year because I started just after they got back! I did get to go to Oktoberfest in Munich in September, and I feel like most companies just can’t offer incentives like that nowadays!

What advice would you give someone considering applying to Reperio?

Just go for it – a conversation never does any harm. When I first spoke with Darcy about working at Reperio, I really had no intentions of leaving my job at the time, and was only really talking to her out of curiosity! I have no regrets 😊
