D365 F&O Functional Consultant

I'm currently working with a client who is looking to add an experienced D365 F&O Functional Consultant to their team on a long-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major transformation programme where you'll play a key role in delivering and optimising Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional D365 F&O solutions.
• Configure and support one or more core Finance & Operations modules.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, from workshops and solution design through to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Produce functional documentation, process flows, and solution designs.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing, data migration, and end-user training.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, workflows, security, and reporting requirements.
• Provide ongoing functional support and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Skills

• Strong functional experience across one or more D365 F&O modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing, or Manufacturing.
• Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Good understanding of D365 F&O configuration, security, workflows, reporting, and data entities.
• Experience supporting integrations, data migration, testing, and user training.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Previous experience working within Agile delivery environments is highly desirable.
