Our client is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to develop high-performance software within a technically advanced R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance software using modern C/C++.
• Design and optimise multithreaded and distributed systems.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical decisions.
• Develop networking and inter-process communication solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex performance and stability issues.
• Support testing, automation, and code quality.
• Mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• Strong commercial C/C++ experience.
• Excellent knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and OOP.
• Experience with concurrency, distributed systems, and networking.
• Strong Linux development experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, sockets, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Git, testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Docker/containerisation.
• HPC or parallel programming.
• Python/Bash.
