Data Architect

I'm currently recruiting for a Data Architect based in Dublin, focusing on hybrid working. This is an initial 6 month contract, strong day rate available.

About the Role

• Senior Data Architect role responsible for designing and scaling modern enterprise data architecture across GCP, including BigQuery, data lakes and real-time data platforms.
• Lead the development of ELT pipelines, data models, API integrations and streaming solutions, while shaping data governance and architecture strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions

Requirements

• Previous experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Modelling or a similar senior role.
• Previous technical experience with GCP, BigQuery, Python, dbt and real-time technologies such as Dataflow, Pub/Sub or Kafka.
• Comfortable presenting findings to non- technical clients

Desirable

• Google Cloud certification, such as Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect.
• Previous technical experience with Data Mesh, Lakehouse architectures, FastAPI or building data APIs and microservices.
