Senior Frontend Engineer

A leading multinational technology company is expanding its engineering team and is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Software Engineer to join a new and exciting greenfield project.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve customer-facing product features using React and TypeScript.
• Develop intuitive, data-rich interfaces, including review workflows, approval flows and clear views of changes within customer data.
• Take ownership of features from initial design and technical discussions through to implementation, monitoring and ongoing improvements.
• Focus on frontend performance and ensure complex, data-heavy applications remain fast and responsive.
• Work closely with the founders and wider engineering team to help shape new product features and technical decisions.
• Help drive frontend best practices around component architecture, state management, testing and accessibility.
• Work closely with backend engineers on areas including API integration, caching, streaming responses and optimistic updates.

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience building and shipping production frontend applications.
• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience taking ownership of features from concept through to delivery.
• A strong eye for UI and UX, with the ability to turn designs and requirements into polished, intuitive user experiences.
• Comfortable working closely with backend systems and APIs.
• Experience with caching, streaming responses and optimistic updates would be beneficial.
• A strong understanding of accessibility and modern frontend best practices.
• Someone who enjoys taking ownership, contributing ideas and challenging decisions where necessary.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment in Dublin several days per week.
