Senior Red Team Operator - Waterford, Ireland

Our client, a global financial services organisation, is hiring a Senior Red Team Operator to own their offensive security program end-to-end - from planning and scoping through execution, reporting, and remediation tracking.

What you'll do

• Own the offensive security lifecycle: planning, scheduling, execution oversight, reporting and remediation tracking across Red Team, adversary emulation and purple team exercises
• Coordinate engagements between operators, defensive/detection teams, engineering partners and external vendors, mapping findings to frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
• Track findings from identification through remediation and validation, partnering with engineering teams on ownership, prioritisation and closure
• Act as the primary point of contact for audit and regulatory reviews of offensive security activity, ensuring engagements are defensible and well-documented
• Advise application, infrastructure and platform teams on secure design based on patterns observed through testing

What you'll bring

• 5-7 years in operational cyber security roles, with strong exposure to attack vectors, exploit development, network/application penetration testing and social engineering
• Degree in computer science, computer engineering or computer security
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-presentation skills
• Certifications such as SANS, CEH or CISSP are a strong asset
• Familiarity with frameworks such as CISA, MITRE, NIST, CREST, I-CRT or TIBER-EU is a plus
• Experience with ServiceNow and Confluence is a plus
