Senior Data Analyst

I'm currently recruiting for a senior data analyst based in Dublin, this is an initial 6-month contract. Focusing on hybrid working, strong day rate available.

About the role

• Use SQL and other analytical tools to investigate data, perform root cause analysis and support accurate KPI and management reporting.
• Contribute to reporting modernisation, automation and the evolution of cloud-based data and analytics capabilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting or a related analytical role within a complex, high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in SQL , including querying large datasets, joining multiple sources and working with curated data layers or table views.
• Previous technical experience working with cloud-based data platforms and using tools such as Python
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

• Previous technical experience with Snowflake, cloud data migration or modernisation initiatives.
• Knowledge of data modelling, semantic layers, data quality and analytics engineering principles.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar BI and visualisation tools.
