Technical Vulnerability Management Lead - 2-Month Contract - Dublin City Centre

What you'll do
This is a short engagement to assess an existing vulnerability management process, get a delivery plan in place and drive remediation from day one. You'll work with application, infrastructure and system owners to get vulnerabilities fixed, and push back where patching is being resisted. You'll also give management clear reporting on progress, risk and blockers, and leave a stronger, more sustainable process behind you.
Key responsibilities
- Review the current vulnerability management process and identify gaps and areas to improve
- Build a delivery plan and run several workstreams in parallel
- Review scan findings and prioritise remediation by business impact and risk
- Drive remediation with application and infrastructure owners, and escalate where needed
- Track vulnerabilities through their lifecycle and flag blockers, dependencies and recurring issues
- Produce concise reports on exposure, progress and residual risk
- Help improve governance so the process is sustainable long term
Environment
Mainly Windows, across Microsoft Azure and on-premise infrastructure, with some exposure to Oracle. The tools are Qualys and ServiceNow, Edgescan
What you'll bring
- Strong vulnerability management experience in complex enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Qualys or a similar platform, plus ServiceNow
- Solid knowledge of Windows, Azure and on-prem infrastructure
- The confidence to challenge stakeholders and keep remediation moving
- Experience improving or transforming a vulnerability management programme (a strong plus)
