NetSuite to Odoo ERP Consultant

About the opportunity
Our client is preparing to move its ERP from NetSuite to Odoo and is looking for an experienced ERP consultant to help guide the transition. It's an opportunity to shape a migration from the ground up and to be the person who makes sure nothing important gets lost along the way. Depending on what's needed, you could oversee the implementation yourself or work alongside the Odoo team to support the process.

What you'll do

• Assess the current NetSuite setup, including workflows, customizations, integrations and reporting
• Plan and support the migration to Odoo, including data mapping, cleansing and transfer
• Configure and customize Odoo to fit the business's processes
• Rebuild or replace integrations and extensions, including where no standard connector exists
• Work closely with finance, operations and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and keep everyone aligned
• Support testing, training and go-live, along with stabilization after launch
• Spot risks early and recommend practical solutions

What you'll bring

• Hands-on experience with both NetSuite and Odoo
• A track record of ERP implementations, ideally including at least one platform migration
• Solid understanding of core ERP areas such as financials, billing, supply chain and inventory
• The ability to translate business needs into system design
• Confidence working with senior finance and IT leadership
• Clear communication and a flexible, problem-solving approach

Nice to have

• NetSuite and/or Odoo certification
• Development experience with custom modules, scripting or integrations
• Background in asset-heavy industries such as manufacturing, equipment, construction or logistics
