Initial 3-Month Contract | Fully Remote (EU) | Immediate Start

I'm recruiting for an experienced SAP HCM German Payroll Specialist for an immediate-start contract within a complex SAP HCM environment.

This is a specialist role requiring strong hands-on expertise in German payroll configuration, statutory compliance and the ability to resolve complex payroll issues independently.

Contract Overview

• Duration: Initial 3 months
• Start: Immediate
• Location: Fully remote - EU-based candidates
• Specialism: SAP HCM / German Payroll

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist functional support across SAP HCM German Payroll (PY-DE).
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot payroll schemas and PCRs.
• Manage payroll enhancements, legislative updates and system changes.
• Support testing, defect resolution and implementation activities.
• Work closely with HR, payroll and technical stakeholders.

Essential Experience

Strong practical knowledge of German payroll processes, including:

• German taxation and social insurance.
• DEÜV reporting and B2A processes.
• Wage garnishments and cessions.
• Company insurance and DME.
• Kurzarbeit (short-time working compensation).
• Payroll reporting, evaluations and year-end processing.
• SAP OSS Notes, HR Support Packages and legislative updates.

The Ideal Consultant

An established SAP HCM professional with deep German Payroll (PY-DE) expertise, excellent knowledge of schemas and PCRs, and a proven ability to deliver in complex payroll environments.
