We're looking for an experienced Technical Vulnerability Management (TVM) Consultant to assess and improve an existing vulnerability management programme.

This isn't a role for someone who only runs scans. You'll take a consultative approach: turning technical findings into clear, risk-based priorities, explaining them to application and infrastructure teams, and confidently challenging resistance to remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Review the current TVM process, identify gaps and build a delivery plan
• Put vulnerability findings in context, weighing business impact, dependencies and remediation complexity
• Work with application, infrastructure and system owners to drive remediation
• Explain technical risk clearly to other teams, and escalate when needed
• Track progress and report to management on exposure, blockers and residual risk
• Manage several workstreams at the same time and help improve governance

Requirements

• Strong TVM experience in complex enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Qualys (or similar) and ServiceNow
• Good knowledge of Windows, Azure and on-prem infrastructure
• A practical understanding of patching challenges and application dependencies
• A consultative style, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Nice to have: EdgeScan, Oracle exposure, or experience transforming a vulnerability management programme
