My client is a leading technology organisation on an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to understand how data behaves inside their complex enterprise systems, to design target models that meet production demands, and map how information flows across their platforms.

Data Architect - Role Responsibilities:

• Reverse-engineer and profile source systems with SQL (and sometimes Python), including ones with little or no documentation
• Design conceptual, logical and physical target models that bring several source systems together
• Build graph models (Neo4j, Spanner Graph, Gremlin) as well as optimised relational models
• Write source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries and business glossaries
• Work with architects, engineers and business SMEs to get models implemented properly

Data Architect - Essential Experience:

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing graph database models using tools like Neo4j, Spanner Graph, Gremlin, or similar.
• Strong SQL, with a track record of making sense of complex, messy enterprise data.
• A clear understanding of how modelling choices affect performance, scalability and query efficiency.
• Cloud experience in GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure.
• Strong Stakeholder Engagement and Communication skills to help explain your designs.
