Site Reliability Engineer

I am currently working with a client to fill the position of Site Reliability Engineer to work on a hybrid basis in their Cork office. The ideal candidate will have experience working as an SRE or DevOps engineer and will be capable of mentoring and training junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Management of operations, availability, performance, monitoring, change management, security, capacity planning and emergency response.
• Incident management.
• Relationship building with external teams for seamless collaboration.
• Management of in-house systems such as CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to the development of technical decisions.

Skills/ experience:

• 4+ years working with AWS
• BSc in IT-related field/ 3+ years of experience in field
• Experience working with Windows system, Bash, Python, VMware, Powershell, Prometheus, CloudWatch and Linux
• Experience with many AWS services
• Backup and restore
• Security management best practices
