Infrastructure Engineer

I am looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join my client's team in Galway on a daily-rate contract basis.

This is a hybrid position, you must be able to commute to Galway a few days per week.

Requirements:

• 5+ Years' experience in a Windows Server environment
• Strong technical knowledge of HyperV
• Previous experience with SQL server installations
• Hands-on experience with firewalls & routers

Responsibilities:

• Plan, test & configure the Windows environment, strong emphasis on Azure and Active Directory (AD).
• Manage the planning, testing, and migration of diverse SQL server databases.
• Take charge of the Microsoft Azure cloud environment
• Design, develop and implement solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Technical documentation as required
