Cloud Solutions Architect

My client is a market leader in Life Sciences, looking for a high-performing Cloud Solutions Architect to drive Application Development teams to progress towards to a cloud-first, DevOps mindset and transition their application suite to be deployed and run in the public cloud.

You will collaborate with Cloud Engineering teams to define appropriate standards and governance while evolving process automation, testing, and scalability of enterprise cloud frameworks in AWS or Azure.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide consultation services to a variety of stakeholders to build new channels between Development and Operations teams while providing hands-on expertise on IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Cloud Solutions Architect - Experience required:

• 5 years' experience in on-premise and multi-cloud environments across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong experience in DevOps tooling, and CI/CD or GitOps pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with a combination of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and Cloudformation.
• Strong experience creating technical architecture documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage and mentor others.

Cloud Solutions Architect - Desirable Skills:

• Cloud-related certifications across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
