Senior Automation Engineer

Our client is a large consultancy, and they are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join their team for a daily rate contract.

This role is due to start immediately, is offering a daily rate of €475 per day and a high likelihood of an extension beyond 9 months.

Whilst you are expected to work on a hybrid model, it is possible that after an initial two months, you can work more remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver Automated tests, test frameworks and test cases in line with the test plan.
• Develop a testing strategy covering all stages of the developmental lifecycle.
• Identify key issues and ensure that engineers have taken the correct action
• Lead both onshore and offshore teams

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of automated testing experience
• Experience in complete end-to-end testing throughout a testing life cycle model
• Proficient working knowledge of CI/CD Process
• Ability to create and implement more than one type of test framework using tools such as; selenium, cypress, BDD etc
• Ability to write test scripts in more than one programme language would be advantageous
• Proven ability to lead a successful team
