A new opportunity has opened up for a Senior Big Data Systems Engineer to join my global client, based in Dublin, Ireland. This is an initial 1-year contract with great potential to extend.
My client are looking for a strong data engineer to join the team to work closely with senior management and stakeholders on multiple client projects.
This particular project will assist a large client with managing Big Data systems, pipelines and architectures.
This role is 1-2 days/week onsite in Dublin centre (flexible depending on the client), and you must be based in Ireland.
Required skills:
- 7+ Years Experience as a Big Data Engineer
- 5+ Years Experience with Big Data technologies
- Hands on Experience with Cloud Technology (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Hands on Experience with Hadoop is essential
- Cloudera Experience beneficial
- Python
- Linux OS experience
For contractual reasons, candidates for consideration must be based in Ireland.
