Quality Assurance Engineer (Daily Rate Contract)

I'm working with an Irish company to recruit a Contract QA Engineer for a 12-month contract and immediate start.

This is the ideal role for an experienced Manual tester who has some Automation testing experience and a passion for learning!

This role offers an opportunity to build upon your current skill set, work with market-leading technologies and offer a mostly remote working structure and €400 per day daily rate.

Responsibilities:

• Create test cases to identify areas that require improvement in line with the test plan for both automated and manual testing.
• Work with other technical teams to complete project-specific testing in line with agreed deadlines.
• Use debugging tools to identify and isolate potential bugs
• Develop a testing strategy that will cover all stages of the developmental lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Experience working in an agile environment, analysing complex solutions and creating the appropriate test strategies
• Proven Manual and Automated testing experience
• Strong understanding of SDLC, API testing and hands-on experience with CICD pipelines
• Experience in testing applications across web and mobile devices
• Knowledge of SQL and automation frameworks is desirable
